The team behind the ever popular Gateshead Beer & Music Festival and the Gateshead Gin Festival are delighted to announce the return of the Gateshead Summer Fest
“We are looking to bring the Beach Party to Low fell with our very own authentic Rum & Gin Shack serving your favourite cocktails and Rum/Gin infused drinks! We will also see the return of the Prosecco bar as well as a huge selection of Ciders and Lagers.

Saturday 27th August
Main Stage
Understudies (Headliners) – One of Favourites and also one the most sought after bands on the festival scene. You will not be disappointed, expect a classic set of Rock, Pop, Punk and Indie.
The Manchester Anthems – Stunning live tribute to the Hacienda/Madchester era; Stone Roses, Oasis, Happy Mondays, The Smiths, Primal Scream, James, Inspiral Carpets, Charlatans and so much more.
The Pretty Weeds – The Pretty weeds are a Four Piece band who perform a fantastic set of floor fillers.
The Reflex – The Reflex are an exhilarating 80’s experience – re-live the fantastic 80’s with this 100% live band.

Sunday 28th August
Main Stage
The Brit Pack (Headliners) – A 4 piece band playing the best 90’s, Britpop, Indie and Rock n Roll.
Phil Davids & the Good Times Band – The Phil Davids Good times Band is a high quality function band that plays Soul, Funk, R & B and Pop Covers.
Bessie and the zinc Buckets – Hill-billy bluegrass, some rock and roll, and some classic rock sounds from Black Sabbath, or U2. Random versions of the music of Dark Side of The Moon with the lyrics of Dire Straits Money for Nothing, which last heard in the Maggie back in May 2010. How about the family favorite Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, or even the pop classic sounds of The Bay City Rollers. Anything is possible as they don’t actually plan a gig, they play requests, no matter what they will have a go at it.
The Straits Uk – Dire Straits tribute band bringing all of the top hits and much more.
Two Metres Apart – We are thrilled to have booked one of the most in demand party bands on the circuit! This incredible band has an amazing eclectic array of party anthems that will have you singing and dancing along.
LOVESOPHIE – Fantastic Vocal & Guitar from Sophie Gordon & Jordan Love

Summer Fest 2022 – Entry Policy
(Please read prior to purchasing tickets)
We work hard to provide a community environment for all to enjoy. However, for several reasons, we are restricting the number of under 18’s an adult can accompany into the festival.
We respectfully ask that *only your own children attend the festival with you*, ‘vouching’ for a friend of your child will not be permitted, as we are limiting the number of under 18’s attending.
For the Summer Fest 2022 we are running a new ‘wrist bands’ for all policy.
Over 18’s
In line with our Challenge 21 policy, if you’re lucky enough to look under 21 you will be asked for ID at the gate, where it will be checked prior to entry.
- All over 18’s will be issued a wrist band. Wrist bands are to be worn at all times – it’s your proof of entry and you will need it to be served at the bar –
- ‘no wrist band = no serve’ at the bar.
Accompanied children/under 18’s
- Your child will be signed in at the gate and issued with a wrist band. Wrist bands are to be worn at all times.
- Any under 18’s who do not have a wrist band will have their names checked against the sign-in sheet and may be asked to leave by our security staff if proof of entry isn’t found.
Please advise our security staff if you have any issues with your wrist band.
If you purchase a ticket online and your ID does not meet the security staff requirements, entry will not be permitted and there will be no refunds. Please do not purchase tickets for anyone under 18yrs, as entry will not be permitted not refunds issued
