About the Founder

U-Rock® Network was founded by John Kevin Timothy, who has worked in independent broadcasting since 1996. He launched U-Rock® on December 13, 1999, as one of the earliest continuous independent internet radio platforms, and has built it into real, working infrastructure for independent music: an affiliate radio network, U-Rock® Records and U-Rock® TV. The mission hasn't changed: rockin' the unheard with the underexposed.
